Lipstick Linked To Breast Cancer

A study has shown that a chemical found in lipstick and nail varnish could trigger breast cancer. Butyl benzyl phthalate, or BBP, is the chemical which makes products look glossy. BBP is a mad-made substance which mimic the female sex hormone estrogen, and it can interfere with the development of breast tissue. Past studies have also linked this chemical to birth defects, kidney problems and infertility, and have been banned in teething rings and babies' dummies across Europe.

Baby rats who were exposed to levels of chemical reported to have altered genetic make-up of cells in the rat's mammary glands. Humans who get exposed to this chemical even at a young age can alter their glands and have a long-term effect.

What shall we do about it? We use numerous cosmetics on our skin each day - from shower gel, to hair spray and moisturizer. I would say, always read the labels before purchasing a product, and try to stick to natural products!

Breast enhancing ringtone: Hoax or not?

I was with my family and we were talking about wacko stuff that happen in this world. We even went into youtube and started watching wacko videos, until my dad started a conversation on this Japanese guy that made this ring tone that would enlarge your breasts. It was a "Haha yeah right" kind of topic until he said it came out in major news medias around the world. Interesting as it seems, I quickly searched for this "breast enhancing ringtone" to find out if it was a bogus or if it really existed. One blogger (answer 11) said it came out in Discovery Channel, and the study which involved a woman listening to the ring tone 10 times a day for 20 days made her breast increase 2-3 sizes. Hideto Tomabechi, the Japanese brainwashing and deprogramming expert claims that playing music to your boobs makes them grow by making the brain and body move unconsciously in a fashion designed to promote the growth of the mammaries. He also claims that the ringtone is a technique involving subliminal effects, which is like "positive brainwashing".

I found a website which allows you to listen to the "breast enlarging" tone, and to be honest with you, I thought it sounded a bit bubbly but at the same time freaky. Other websites regarding this topic includes The Inquirer and Engadget.

The tune had more than 100,000 hits on the website at 300 yen a pop.
